Research Interests:
Dr. Alexov's lab utilizes multiscale modeling approaches to elucidate the structure, dynamics and functional relationships of interacting compounds. He has a broad background in computational biophysics, with specific training and expertise in modeling macromolecules and their complexes. His research includes method and software development, investigations of molecular effects of human nsSNPs, structure-based drug discovery, revealing the role of electrostatics in molecular biology and methods for 3D structure predictions of proteins and protein complexes.
