Prior to his doctoral studies, he earned an MS in Automotive Engineering from Clemson University, a BE in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mathematics &amp; Statistics from Stony Brook University, and an AS in Engineering Science from Herkimer County Community College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yindong\u2019s broad research interests include Biomechanics, Human-system interaction, and more. He is enthusiastic about exploring and evaluating innovative solutions to prevent workplace injuries, enhance work experience, and improve work efficiency. His current focus is on the effectiveness of exoskeletons in healthcare applications. With both industrial and research experience across multiple disciplines, Yindong combines technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills. He has a Master of Science in Applied Electronics from University of Colombo, Sri Lanka and Bachelor of Science in Physics from University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. His research interest lies in Rehabilitation and Sports Biomechanics, focusing on applying exoskeleton technology within these domains. He earned an MS in<br>Bioengineering from Clemson University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tehran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his doctoral journey, Mehdi aims to contribute to understanding, preserving, and improving human  movement by utilizing exoskeletons. His broad research interests are Human-Robot Interaction, Biomechanics, and Computer Vision. He is a published researcher with a diverse background in various applications of robotics and artificial intelligence, including surgical\/medical simulators, social robots, and wearable devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mehdi has over one year experience working in the industry. He is passionate about R&amp;D that<br>significantly impacts human lives. Mehdi has good interpersonal skills and was a semi-professional Track and field athlete, competing at national Iranian championships.
