Summer Experience

You will spend the summer conducting research, developing professionally, and enjoying the fun of summer in Clemson, South Carolina.

Research

Students will work directly with expert faculty on projects that seek to create novel human centered operations research and engineering (H-CORE) models and methods. Human factors-leaning students will focus on the physical and cognitive demands placed on humans within a system so that they can develop preliminary interventions and workplace re-designs, collect data, and report on study effects on human performance. Operations research-leaning students will model and collect data to support methods that distinctly focus on incorporating the human element of the system.

Professional Development
