The effort combines operations research (OR) and human factors (HF) methods to address societally pressing problems. This allows OR models to truly capture the human element of the system being studied and consider how HF problems can be enhanced through advanced analytics.
The H-CORE REU will help prepare you to conduct interdisciplinary, human-centered research to address complex social and technological problems – an emerging need for engineers.
