Dr. Kapil Chalil Madathil’s area of expertise is applying the knowledge base of human factors engineering to the design and operation of human-computer systems for complex environments that involve rich interactions between people and technology. He has specific expertise in the areas of human factors and system design and is currently active in the application of these principles to healthcare domain.

Aasish received his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from TKM College of Engineering, Kerala, India and earned his Master’s Degree in Ocean Technology and Management from Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India (IITM). He is currently working on developing decision support models to aide online customers’ selection of contractors for home maintenance and developing interventions to enhance the distributed cognition among operators of underwater Remotely Operated Vehicles. He has received a scholarship from National Institute of Ocean Technology. Outside of work, he likes to spend time with his wife and daughter and likes traveling, playing badminton, cricket, and soccer.

Camden received his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Clemson University. Camden, a DoD SMART scholar, studies how humans and artificial intelligence can form more effective teams, and he is splitting his time between Clemson and the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic in Charleston.

Snowil received his undergraduate degree in Architecture from Mumbai University, followed by a Master’s degree in Construction Science and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Clemson University. He is currently a full-time employee as an energy engineer at Clemson University utility services. He is also pursuing his PhD in Civil Engineering focusing on developing interventions to enhance distributed cognition among human-agent collectives to support critical infrastructure resilience. He has also co-authored one journal paper and two conference proceedings papers. Outside of his work and professional life, Snowil likes hiking, camping and painting
