Sam Beckley, an MSE junior undergraduate working in our lab, received the highly-selective Undergraduate Research Scholarship from the Microscopy Society of America (MSA). The Scholarship will provide $2,000 fund to allow him conduct electron microscopy related research and attend MSA annual meetings. Thanks for the generous support from MSA. Congratulations, Sam!

Prof. He received the 2019 Clemson Major Research Instrumentation (CU-MRI) Award funded by Clemson’s R-Initiatives. This award will support the acquisition of a multifunctional in-situ TEM holder for Clemson’s Hitachi electron microscopes, which will benefit a large group of researchers in the fields of materials science, mechanical engineering, physics, chemistry, and other related disciplines.
