Abayomi Babatunde Alayande

Abayomi currently works as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with Prof Ladner. He is an environmental scientist and engineer with a strong foundation in microbiology and a track record of over 8 years in the field. His current research is anaerobic membrane bioreactor wastewater treatment specifically tailored for controlled environment agriculture hydroponics. His main interest is in maintaining and enhancing water quality control.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in microbiology from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. Subsequently, he completed his master’s degree in Environmental Science & Engineering and his PhD in Earth Sciences & Environmental Sciences, both at the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, South Korea. He then held positions as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Korea University and as a Research Associate Professor at Gyeongsang National University for a brief period. Reach out on Linkedin
