The Ladner group has recently become interested in assimilable organic carbon (AOC). This is the diagram version of the current AOC testing procedure that I use weekly for testing. It is a great tool to have a standard operating procedure (SOP) in front of you on paper to make certain nothing is left out. When the SOP is an easy-to-follow diagram, even better. I use this as a mass/volume balance to know where all five of my samples are heading.
