At the same time, we have to recognize that granular media filtration is far and away the most common filtration method that is actually practiced.\u00a0Today you probably drank water that was\u00a0passed through a granular media filter.<\/p>\n<p>For my water treatment class I created a video showing the backwash step of a filter.
