What is Baja SAE?

Baja SAE is a international engineering competition involving the design and testing of a custom-built offroad single-seater. Teams face off from around the world, competing in events involving design, cost, performance, and endurance.

We're a student-run team that learns by doing. From 3D CAD modeling and suspension design to welding and fabrication, every part of our car is built from the ground-up by students who convert design concepts into tangible results. Through teamwork, testing, and competition, we develop the same skills used by professional engineers in modern-day industry.

Our Mission

Clemson Baja SAE is rebuilding stronger than ever after the club's COVID dissipation. Our young, enthusiastic team is focused on reviving a legacy—competing, innovating, and creating something future Tigers will be proud to carry forward.
