Ashfaqul Hoque Khadem | Graduate Research Assistant

Ashfaqul graduated from the Bangladesh University of Textiles in 2022. Following that, he served as a lecturer at the University of Scholars. In Fall 2024, he began his Ph.D. studies in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Clemson University.

Research interest: 1D/2D materials, fiber composites, electrospinning, nanomaterial composites

Research Scholar
Sumit Kolte

Sumit earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai in 2019 and completed his Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Clemson University in 2024. He is a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer with a strong academic foundation and two years of professional experience in design, manufacturing, assembly, and quality control.

Research interest: 3D printing, SolidWorks, Simulations

Master Student
Aditya Chauhan

Aditya Chauhan earned his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST), India, and is pursuing an M.S. at Clemson University. He specializes in composite materials, inelastic material modeling, and advanced manufacturing processes, with experience in material characterization and microstructural analysis. He completed internships at the Indian Institute of Science and Tata Motors, gaining expertise in composite fabrication, defect analysis, and quality control.

Research interest: Composite materials, material characterization, structural optimization, advanced manufacturing techniques, and defect analysis in precision engineering

Master Student
Siddardha Achanta

Siddardha has completed his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Reva University in 2022. Following that, he worked in L&T Construction Equipment Ltd. for one year in the Hydraulic Division, involving in designing various Hydraulic Systems on AutoCAD and Solidworks. In Spring 2024, Siddardha began his M.S. studies in the department of Mechanical Engineering at Clemson University.

Research interest: Design and Manufacturing, 3D Printing, Finite Element Methods using ANSYS, Solidworks, Simulation
