Deep Orange 8: Autonomous Mobility Motionboard

In the eighth generation of the Deep Orange program, graduate automotive engineering students at Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research were tasked with developing, engineering and realizing a smart, autonomous, highly integrative Motionboard. The modular platform enabled design flexibility for purpose-built future mobility concepts for the year 2025. The Motionboard’s functions include traction, braking, steering, energy storage, charging and autonomous driving.
