Deadline Extended to Jan. 24: Apply to Include your Ecolabel or Standard in EPA\u2019s Recommendations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
\"ShoppingEPA has extended the deadline to Jan. 24, 2023, for applications from managers of standards development organizations, ecolabel programs and other similar organizations for assessment and inclusion in the Recommendations of Specifications, Standards and Ecolabels for Federal Purchasing<\/a>, a resource that helps federal purchasers identify and procure environmentally preferable products and services. Learn more<\/a><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

EPA to Announce Upcoming P2 Grant Opportunities<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

EPA expects to announce a new round of pollution prevention grant opportunities in the coming months that will focus on achieving environmental justice through P2. One grant opportunity will promote safer products and sustainable purchasing and another will focus on P2 technical assistance to businesses. Both grants are funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and will not have a cost share\/match requirement. Following the release of Requests for Applications, EPA will host informational webinars. Stay tuned to P2 News for more information!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deadline Approaching! Pollution Prevention Works: A Storytelling Challenge for Students<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
\"PollutionThere are a little more than six weeks left for high school and college students to put their storytelling skills to the test and win up to $5,000! EPA is asking for videos, written stories, infographics or story maps that illustrate how businesses identified through EPA\u2019s Toxics Release Inventory use innovative P2 practices to reduce toxic chemical releases and positively impact the environment.
