Postdoctoral Positions
We are always interested in potential postdocs with a strong background in polymer chemistry, or informatics enabled advanced materials and manufacturing innovations aka artificial intelligence in materials and manufacturing platforms. Applicants should have a good track record, be able to work independently, and be willing to take on new challenges. Help will be provided to obtain postdoctoral fellowship funding for suitable candidates. Please contact Srikanth Pilla if you are interested in joining the lab.
PhD Studentships
Students interested in doing a PhD should direct informal inquiries to Srikanth Pilla along with their current CV, GRE/TOEFL scores and unofficial transcript. Students with background and training in polymer chemistry, polymer physics, machine learning, materials and manufacturing informatics, artificial intelligence in manufacturing platforms are highly encouraged to apply. All graduate students are registered with Clemson University and become a member of Automotive Engineering, Materials Science or Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, depending on their background, interest and research focus.
Undergraduate Assistantships
Currently seeking inquisitive undergraduate students serious about gaining top-notch research experience in cutting-edge materials science and engineering and advanced manufacturing technologies. We ask for a commitment of at least 10 hours per week for an entire academic year, so the student can perfect a set of research skills and actively participate in scientific investigations. Undergraduate research assistants can earn research credits. Occasionally, there may be some open student hourly positions available.
