<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The Spring 2021 THINKER Capstone course students presented their final project demonstrations in April 2021 to faculty and staff at Clemson University, Greenville Technical College, and Bosch Rexroth Corporation. The project teams, made up of graduate students from Clemson University and senior mechatronics students from Greenville Technical College’s Center for Manufacturing Innovation campus, worked together to solve current and future manufacturing problems. This semester’s topics included partially automating a small part kitting and bagging line to include a collaborative robot assisting workers in their tasks and machine health monitoring and diagnosis for legacy equipment and infrastructure. The class was based in the Clemson Vehicle Assembly Center, which serves as a proving ground for innovative manufacturing research in SC.</span></p>
