On behalf of the organizing committee and the Commission on Latino Affairs, I would like to invite you to the Celebration of Day of the Dead at Clemson this November 4, 6- 9 PM at the Carillon Garden. This is the 5th edition of this celebration (already!) and continues to be a big effort from faculty, staff, and students across the entire university to 1) educate and include our community in this important celebration, and 2) provide a welcoming space for the growing Latinx population in the Upstate to celebrate their traditions. Please visit our website www.clemsondayofthedead.org to see memories from the last 4 years, also in Spanish at www.clemsondiadelosmuertos.org
  • This event is FREE to everyone and will feature activities for all ages: a wonderful exhibition of altars/ofrendas, live Mariachi band, food trucks, a self-guided video tour, face painting, activities, and an outdoor screening of the movie Coco.
  • We invite you to bring a picture or memento to celebrate your loved one.
