We are looking for applicants for Spring 2022 and Summer 2022. Underclassmen are welcome to learn about this program for their future planning.
The program is a multidisciplinary industry-sponsored capstone design project related to energy/power systems – the project culminates in a presentation at a professional meeting. Technical electives are available to complete or progress your degree – your advisors will know about this. I will introduce the Clemson facility in Charleston, which houses two of the world’s largest and most modern wind turbine drive train test stands, a world-class electrical power grid simulator used to protect our power grid, the restoration center for the Hunley (Civil War-era) submarine and the modern Graduate Education Center located on the banks of the Cooper River.
We look forward to having you join us next week.
