ACES for Clemson: A $4.3 Million award by US Department of Energy enables deployment of up to 10 Automated Connected Electric Shared (ACES) shuttles by Optimus Ride on Clemson Campus for a period of 3 years, serving students, faculty, and staff. Our team at Clemson will collaborate with University of California at Berkeley and Argonne National Laboratory teams to investigate the impact in a number of areas in particular energy, carbon footprint, and equity as compared to conventional Clemson University Transit and analyze scale up to other campuses and metropolitan areas.
