How do you pace yourself when exercising on the treadmill or when riding a bike along a hilly road? We are trying to find the best exercise strategies by constructing and validating individualized models of fatigue and recovery. Several students, collaborators, and test subjects have contributed to this research. We are hoping to be able to provide real-time feedback to a person during exercise to maximize the return on their effort and time.
