This week, Junior Kenetra Johnson (Vice President, Clemson Student Chapter) and PhD student Josh Osuofa (President, Clemson Student Chapter) joined me at the annual NOBCChE Meeting in St. Louis to help with undergraduate and graduate recruiting for our department. During our visit, we ran into Clemson alumni (MSE graduate) and Dr. Emanuel Waddell, President of NOBCChE (pictured above). We had a great time interacting with all of the students (ranging from high school to PhD), as well as the other exhibitors, both in academia and industry, at the meeting. We are looking forward to next year’s meeting in Orlando, FL in October!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had a large group from Clemson University attend the annual NOBCChE Meeting in Orlando, FL this year. Along with myself and PhD student Allison Jansto, Seniors Mikhala Cooper-Robinson (Vice President, Student Chapter), Deidra Ward (President, Student Chapter), Jasmine Pringle (Treasurer), De’Janique Bradshaw (Social Coordinator, Student Chapter), and Kimberly Garvin (pictured above).

As part of the meeting, both Mikhala and Deidra presented their work (pictured below).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
