Welcome to the Clemson Advanced Manufacturing & Materials Processing Laboratory<\/strong> located at Clemson, SC.<\/p>\n

\"CAMMP<\/p>\n

The CAMMP lab focuses on interdisciplinary research integrating experimental studies and physical modeling of advanced manufacturing and materials processing.<\/p>\n

The research involves structural integration of micro\/nano sensors and manufacturing tools through additive manufacturing with nano-engineered materials. The goal is\u00a0 to enable the smart manufacturing with intelligent devices integrated with sensor networks for self-diagnostic capability.<\/p>\n

The CAMMP lab is also one of the pioneering laboratories in the world for manufacturing a large volume of metal matrix nanocomposites through a state-of-the-art liquid-based process. The research lies on physical science and engineering technologies for fundamental understanding of the processing-structure-property relationship and its practical application to the industrial implementation for high performance lightweight materials.<\/p>\n
