The primary goal of the consortium is to advance the state of the art in capacitor technology by developing new models, new materials, new capacitor designs and new applications for capacitors. Intellectual property developed as the result of consortium research will be shared with member companies allowing them unrestricted, royalty-free use of any models, materials or designs developed as the result of consortium research.
