Di Nguyen (President)
Di is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Industrial Engineering. Her research interests include network interdiction, large-scale optimization, and integer programming. She is advised by Dr. Cole Smith.
Murwan Siddig (Vice-President)
Murwan is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Industrial Engineering. His research interests focus on optimization under uncertainty and applications of optimization. He is advised by Dr. Yongjia Song.
Alexey Bochkarev (Secretary)
Alexey is a PhD student in Industrial Engineering Department, supervised by Dr. J. Cole Smith. His research interests include optimization over graphs/networks, applications of Decision Diagrams to discrete optimization problems, and interdiction.
Morteza Soltani (Treasurer)
Morteza is a PhD student in the Department of Industrial Engineering. He is advised by Dr. Jeffrey Kharoufeh and his research interests lie in the area of operations research. In particular, his current research is focused on maintenance optimization of offshore turbines.
S. Amin Seyed Haeri (Director of Communications)
Amin is a Supply Chain & Operations Management Ph.D. candidate in the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business. His main research interest is the study of the renewable energy market investment through Structural Econometrics Modeling. He teaches Intermediate Business Statistics to undergraduate students at the College of Business and he is advised by Dr. Ahmet Colak.
Yongjia Song (Faculty Advisor)
Dr. Yongjia Song is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering. His research interests include optimization under uncertainty (stochastic and robust optimization), integer programming (linear and nonlinear), and applications of optimization.
