Undergraduate researchers
Kimiya Rezaiamiri
Kimiya Rezaiamiri is a senior majoring in Industrial Engineering at Clemson University and is excited to join the PHASE Lab. Her goal is to contribute to research that makes work environments safer, more efficient, and more supportive for the people who rely on them. She is interested in human factors and looks forward to applying an industrial engineering perspective to better understand how people interact with systems, tools, and workplaces. Through her work in the PHASE Lab, Kimiya hopes to grow as an engineer and gain meaningful, real‑world experience that helps improve the way people work..

Sophie Shanley
Sophie Shanley is an undergraduate Industrial Engineering student at Clemson University,
expected to graduate in May 2026. She has experience in process improvement and work
measurement and is looking forward to contributing to the lab’s research focused on qualitative
analysis of physical and cognitive human performance measures related to balance ability. Her
interests include applying data-driven engineering methods to improve system efficiency and
performance
