Welcome to the Clemson Advanced Manufacturing & Materials Processing Laboratory located at Clemson, SC.

The CAMMP lab focuses on interdisciplinary research integrating experimental studies and physical modeling of advanced manufacturing and materials processing.

The research involves structural integration of micro/nano sensors and manufacturing tools through additive manufacturing with nano-engineered materials. The goal is  to enable the smart manufacturing with intelligent devices integrated with sensor networks for self-diagnostic capability.

The CAMMP lab is also one of the pioneering laboratories in the world for manufacturing a large volume of metal matrix nanocomposites through a state-of-the-art liquid-based process. The research lies on physical science and engineering technologies for fundamental understanding of the processing-structure-property relationship and its practical application to the industrial implementation for high performance lightweight materials.
