State and Local Governments:  Provided services to 14 state governments and to six units of local government in the Atlanta metropolitan area. Received IBM President's Award for Service to the City of Atlanta and a City of Atlanta Award for Outstanding Service to the Community. Both were awarded  for support provided in the Wayne Wiliams serial Child Murder Case.

While based in Washington , DC , conducted 84 intensive planning sessions leading to strategic operating/marketing plans for public and private agencies. Have continued conducting planning sessions as an avocation; having now completed over 150 sessions.

Developed and presented an educational program to enhance the telecommunications expertise of customers and IBM sales teams in the Southeast. Those programs were presented in over 30 cities to more than 1200 clients, and over 600 IBM personnel.

Provided consultation to sales teams and customers on voice/data communications, multi-vendor connectivity, and telecommunications standards in assignments from 1983 through 1991.

Installed successful applications involving telecommunications - wireless and terrestrial - in numerous industries, including: defense, finance, manufacturing, insurance, distribution, hospitals and state and local governments. Many of these applications were firsts; some are still unique.

Only two official publications:  One, co-author with James Brunson of an IEEE publication, "The Piezoelectric Effect of Crystals'.  Second, "IBM Guide to Marketing to the Federal Government".  The second had a much wider circulation.   Assisted in and/or managed hundreds of major proposals  which, fortunately, had a very successful win rate.
