Responsibilities: The candidate will be responsible for fabrication of Nanoelectronic and Micro/Nanoelectromechanical devices using photolithographic and/or e-beam lithographic techniques, their structural/electrical/mechanical characterization, and applications in chemical/biological/radiological sensing. Other responsibilities include assistance in grant proposal writing and general lab/student supervision.
Requirements: An earned doctoral degree (preferably from an accredited US University), and a strong background in semiconductor materials and devices is required. Candidates must have experience in clean room and lithographic fabrication and/or in nanoscale semiconducting material synthesis. Structural characterization experiences with SEM, AFM, TEM, etc., and background in MEMS or sensor devices will be a plus.
