The COVID-19 pandemic has caused significant disruptions to all aspects of society and emphasized the importance of community and household resilience through self-reliance. Two practices that enhance community and household self-reliance, while also providing environmental benefits, are at-home gardening and backyard composting. In this webinar, TDEC’s Office of Policy and Sustainable Practices plans to highlight information, including tips and tricks, on how to start your own garden and backyard compost setup.
