Part of the work SC E3 does includes participating in site visits to perform energy conservation assessments. SC E3 has been involved with several assessments at manufacturing facilities and has developed recommendations that could be implemented at other sites as ways to reduce energy use and save money. Below is a sample recommendation for the implementation of exchanging existing propane forklifts with electric at the plant.
