Mapping Climate Exposure and Climate Information Needs to Water Utility Business Functions: Framework, Findings, and Insights from Practitioners

Are you a utility manager seeking to understand and assess climate-related risks and opportunities and incorporate them into your strategic planning, funding, and investment decisions? Join us for a webcast focused on Water Utility Business Risk and Opportunity Framework (4729). This project produced a framework and step-by-step guidebook designed to be used by utilities with a wide range of sizes, impacts, and functions. The framework can help water utilities identify and prioritize their core business functions in context with climate-related drivers, map climate-related risks and opportunities, align their needs with the information required to undertake planning and implementation, and accelerate the mainstreaming of climate considerations into utility management. Though this framework specifically focused on drinking water utilities, its approach has broader applicability across a variety of utilities, businesses, and governments.
