Executive producer Ivan L. Williams (B.S., Chemical Engineering Oregon State University, M.B.A., University of California, Irvine) not only scaled the world of process engineering, but his second act was making his mark in Hollywood and on Broadway.  He not only has been the recipient of multiple technical excellence awards by several of the world’s largest energy companies, but a few years ago, he was nominated and welcomed to the preeminent Producers Guild of America’s Producers Council. Born in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, but mainly raised in San Diego, Williams not only is a veteran U.S. Navy Reserve intelligence officer, but he will forever cherish his status as an Oregon Engineer-in-Training. As a former principal engineer, he has been recognized for his innovative use of computing technologies in the petroleum refining industry — not the least of which is his team’s development of a patented smart P&ID software application. Please join us as he shares his insights on creativity and how it powered his 42-year engineering to Hollywood journey.
