There is a new course that is being offered in the Department of Languages next semester: “Medical Interpreting, Ethics and Intercultural Communication” (SPAN 4990). The course is for students with higher intermediate (at least one 3000-level Spanish course before enrolling) to advanced or native level of Spanish who are interested in interpreting in the medical field or elsewhere. Prior interpreting experience is not necessary.

This is a service-learning course.
