The Adopt-A-Village initiative gained momentum in the Fall of 2011, when a short-term team of CEDC students began assessing villages around the Central Plateau. This initiative was continued and completed in the Summer of 2012, after which “village assessment brochures” were created documenting major needs and solution sets for each village’s major water resource needs.
