Background |
Dr. Alexis finished his Ph.D. in Materials Science in 2003 from the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. He then worked as a Postdoc Fellow at the Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology in Singapore. In 2006 he worked as a postdoc in Prof. Robert Langer’s lab at the Center of Cancer Nanotechnology Excellence at MIT and in Dr Omid Farokhzad’s lab at Brigham’s Women’s Hospital in Boston. In 2009 Dr. Alexis started the Nanomedicine lab at Clemson University, working to develop novel drug delivery systems. |
