The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) – Office of Sustainable Practices (OSP) invites you to join us for a Tennessee Sustainable Spirits webinar. The growth of craft distilleries in the United States has been explosive in recent years. The producers, including the large corporate producers who thrive in this more competitive market will be the ones who can lower production costs while maintaining the high quality responsible for their success. In an era where the American and Global public demands social responsibility from their favored brands, environmentally sound practices are also a necessity. The presentation will review all the thermal heating used in a Distillery, from washing bottles to generating steam and will discuss solutions, costs and Return on Investments using solar thermal.
