PhD Student Nick Gregorich Competes in Finals at Southeastern 3MT Competition
This past weekend, PhD student Nick Gregorich competed at the Southeastern 3-Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition in Mississippi. Nick was one of only 8 students (out of 48) that were selected to present in the Finals. This is the furthest that any Clemson students has gotten in the 3MT competition. This is quite an accomplishment – congrats Nick!

Last week at the Fall AIChE Meeting, PhD student Allison Domhoff placed 3rd in the “Excellence in Graduate Polymer Research” session for her talk based on her work related to nanoparticle surface functionalization and ionomer structure for membranes utilized in redox flow batteries. Congratulations to PhD Student Nick Gregorich for 1st Place in 3MT Competition
Congratulations to PhD student Nick Gregorich for his 1st place presentation in the 3-minute thesis (3MT) competition. Nick’s presentation titled, “Green Filtration for Clean Water”, highlighted our work related to lignin-based hydrogels for water purification and bioseparation applications. As the winner of the competition here at Clemson, Nick will travel to Birmingham, Alabama to compete in the Southeastern Regional Championship.
