With the goal to establish C2M2 as a globally recognized multimodal mobility innovation center we recognize the need for a highly trained, sophisticated workforce with technical abilities and the desire for lifelong learning, with this in mind our Center has funded multiple projects focused on developing training programs for both transportation students, and professionals. Our training programs can be tailored to your needs and can vary in length from an afternoon to a multi-day program. Currently our Center offers training modules on the use of connected and autonomous vehicle (C/AV) simulation software like Webots, C/AV devices, both in-vehicle and roadside, and C/AV cybersecurity.
In addition to the training that we currently offer, several of our sponsored researchers are working with state and local department of transportation employees to develop training programs that explore rail, and bridge monitoring using drones, roadside construction management programs, and work zone speed calming techniques.
