6th AAWE Workshop

The Glenn Department of Civil Engineering is pleased to host the 6th AAWE Workshop. AAWE Workshops are focused on student and early career presentations. The workshop will include keynote addresses from Dr. Anne Cope (IBHS), Dr. Tracy Kijewski-Correa (Notre Dame), and Dr. Pedro Fernandez-Caban (Clarkson). We will host panel discussions on wind engineering practice and future directions for wind engineering research as well as Dr. Joy Pauschke (NSF program director) to talk about funding options for wind engineering. We will have six sets of parallel session made up of 83 talks and will end with AAWE’s Quadrennial Awards Ceremony.

The Workshop is chaired by Dr. Nigel Kaye (Clemson University) with the assistance of a Scientific Committee who assisted in reviewing abstracts, selecting speakers and panelists, and other programmatic issues.
